The computer screen went dark, and Lee's heart raced as she heard her own ragged breathing.

She quickly called out to Yanzhou Jiang on the phone, asking him about "Peach Blossom Fish". He sighed deeply and told her that he had been investigating this matter for some time. He explained that there were several cases of people being killed by "Peach Blossom Fish" over the past year. They all died under similar circumstances: they would be playing games or browsing the internet when suddenly their screens would turn red and they would see a figure emerging from the screen - it was always "Peach Blossom Fish".

Yanzhou Jiang told Lee that he believed this entity might not have any evil intentions towards her. He suggested she move into his apartment for safety until further notice. As she moved in, Lee began to experience strange occurrences at night: hearing footsteps outside her door, seeing shadowy figures lurking around corners.

One night while lying in bed, she felt something crawling under her skin like ants biting through silk threads; another night she woke up screaming after dreaming about drowning in water filled with peach blossoms.
