在遥远的藏北，有一位名叫康嘎德瓦的头人，他在外面当宗本，四处寻欢作乐，不顾妻子桑姆珠玛的痛苦。桑姆珠玛深爱着庄园里的马夫次旦。一天，当次旦正在井边饮水时，桑姆珠玛走来想跟他开个玩笑，但次旦心中急切，便唱道：

阿佳桑姆珠玛啦，请你让开点，让开点！

我不是老爷少爷，而是放马的奴隶，

马不是一匹两匹，而是三千六百匹。

桑姆珠玛赶紧放下桶绳，与次旦唱和：

哥哥马夫次旦呵，请你别生气，别生气！

我不要什么老爷少爷，我想和你在一起。

正值康嘎德瓦回家，对于此事不问青红皂白地责怪了次旦，并给了他三天时间到庄园说明情况。第二天早晨太阳出山之时，次旦骑着他的三千六百匹马回到庄园，对康嘎德瓦唱道：

阿妈呵阿妈，请给我过节的衣服拿出来吧，这辈子我不会再麻烦您啦！

阿妈呀阿妈，请把我的订婚戒指拿出来吧，这辈子我不会再麻烦您啦！

随后，他又对阿妈说：“请把过节穿的衣服、订婚戒指，一样一样装在马褡子里，我要去见你的丈夫。”然而他的马在地上打滚，不肯起来。next to him, his horse began to cry, as if it was also bidding farewell.

Next day, Arama went to the temple and prayed for the forgiveness of her sins. She then returned home and asked her husband about their son's death. Her husband told her that he had died a heroic death in battle. Arama was overjoyed and thanked God for taking away her sinful son.

The next morning, Arama woke up early and prepared a meal for her husband. As she was cooking, she noticed that the meat was not fresh. She decided to use some old meat instead but accidentally added too much salt. The food tasted bitter and unpleasant.

As they sat down to eat, Arama's husband noticed that something was wrong with the food but did not say anything out of respect for his wife's cooking skills. After finishing their meal, they both felt unwell due to eating spoiled food.

Later that night, while sleeping in bed together with my sister-in-law (Arama), I dreamt of my deceased brother who appeared before me dressed in white clothes from head to toe with a sword in hand...
