作为一名医大的志愿者，我被分配到市儿童医院的骨科，协助医生工作。那天，我们要为一个手臂骨折的小女孩进行复位和固定。于医生吩咐我先带小女孩去激光科拍片，但无论我如何哄劝，她都紧握着脏兮兮的史努比，不肯放下，哭闹不休。

好半天，我终于松了一口气，对她说：“小朋友听话，放下史努比，我们先去治病。”然而，她没有听见似的，只是大哭。正当我无计可施时，于医生走了过来，用四川方言模仿地对她说：“你叫雪儿，是不是五岁半？” girl nodded, still sniffling.

“噢!你的史努比真可爱。”于医生微笑着说，“它和你一样招人喜欢。我想，它知道你受伤了心里一定很难受吧？咱们赶快治好手臂和它一起做游戏啊！” girl looked up at her with a hesitant expression, then nodded slowly.

“幼儿园塌下来的时候，你们是不是在一起的？”于医生问道。girl replied that she and the dog were together when the kindergarten collapsed, and she had pressed on its paw. “看起来，史努比是个坚强、勇敢的小狗哦。” 于医生弯腰微笑着说。

girl smiled through her tears, looking pleased and happy. She put her hand in upon doctor's palm willingly, excitedly going to the X-ray room. The film showed that girl's elbow was severely displaced and needed to be fixed with surgery.

girl lay down next to her dog on a gurney as I pushed them into the plaster room. With an injection of anesthesia, she fell asleep quickly. Under upon doctor's guidance, I supported girl's arm while upon doctor carefully manipulated her elbow until it clicked back into place before securing it in a cast.

Upon finishing up the procedure, I hesitated for a moment but followed upon doctor’s instructions without question or complaint; my duty as a volunteer was clear: help those in need regardless of personal inconvenience or discomfort.

As we finished up with one patient after another throughout the day—each child bearing their own unique scars from disasters such as earthquakes—my understanding grew deeper about what it truly means to heal not just bodies but also spirits during times of crisis.

And so even though this story may seem small compared to other stories out there filled with grand gestures or extraordinary acts of heroism—it holds significance for me because it speaks volumes about compassion and empathy towards others who are suffering.

In conclusion: Through volunteering at city children hospital alongside experienced doctors like Dr., I have learned valuable lessons regarding resilience within individuals during difficult situations like natural disasters affecting their lives deeply.

The importance of taking care not only physical health but mental well-being too cannot be overstated.

By doing our part no matter how big or small helps create positive impact around us all which is vital now more than ever especially considering current global events happening worldwide right now today tomorrow always forward onward forevermore...
