In building and installation contracts where engineering costs can be accurately determined, they must be explicitly stated. If engineering costs cannot be accurately calculated at the time of signing due to reasons such as ongoing preparation of construction drawings for addenda or field inspections during construction with settlement upon completion, these principles must be clearly outlined in the contract regarding calculation methods for engineering costs.

The party providing funds must provide relevant technical information comprehensively, objectively, and timely to ensure smooth progress.
