《卖油郎与画仙：权威版女友睡前故事》

从前，有一个年轻人每天挑着担子走街串巷，卖油为生。人们叫他“卖油郎”，因为家里穷，他尚未娶妻。一天，在路上，他看到有人在卖画，那幅画是描绘了一个漂亮的年轻女子。 sells oil no more, he becomes infatuated with the painting and buys it immediately. He then returns home and hangs the painting in his room, spending every waking moment gazing at it.

As time passes, the young man's obsession with the painting grows stronger. He begins to neglect his work as a seller of oil, opting instead to spend his days admiring the beautiful woman depicted on its surface. His neighbors notice this change in behavior and are perplexed by his newfound love for a mere image.

One day, while out selling oil, he overhears two old men discussing an ancient legend about a magical portrait that comes to life when someone falls deeply in love with it. Intrigued by their tale, he decides to investigate further.

Upon returning home from work one evening, he discovers that his neighbor has moved into her new house next door. Out of curiosity and gratitude for her help during difficult times before moving away earlier that year (he had previously sold her some oil), she invites him over for dinner.

During dinner they talk about everything but pictures or paintings; however they both mention how much they enjoy listening to stories being read aloud before going sleep.

The following night after dinner I decided not only listen but also contribute my part by telling them this story which began like any other tale until suddenly I realized what was happening - I found myself lost within its pages too!
