I ask, “Where is my brother going?” Dad said: "Brother to mom." That time I also didn't understand. And then over a year, my brother mysteriously disappeared, I felt fear, went to find dad, dad looked at me with a cold and indifferent gaze without saying a word.
After that few years passed by smoothly for me until my 15th birthday when in the morning dad prepared everything at home and had a birthday party for me in the evening. He suddenly said: "Tomorrow dad will leave you too." He handed me a letter and told me: "Wait till you're 20 years old to open this letter; everything will be explained then." I was scared because I feared all that he said might come true. And indeed on the next day he left us; they found his body by the river.
As she continued speaking her voice trembled as she talked about how Arkan (阿刚) entered her life whom she loved deeply but he suddenly vanished leaving her heart shattered. She finally reached her 20th birthday and opened the letter from her father which read: “Lian'er (莲儿), you know how hard your life has been since you were 18 when you met someone but one year later he would leave you; don't go looking for him because you won't be able to find him tomorrow we'll all be reunited.”
I heard this part of the story shivering down my spine as if it were happening again; only then did I realize why no one came to buy tickets yet - everyone around seemed expressionless while outside rain poured heavily blurring visibility.
“Driver! Stop!” My voice echoed loudly but there was no response - it seemed like none of them noticed or cared about my presence. Turning back towards Lian'er she wasn’t there anymore so I frantically looked around realizing she'd moved seats behind mine.
“Driver! Pull Over!!” This time louder than before - car stopped abruptly, jumping out into nothingness falling onto wet ground losing consciousness with just an impression of being suspended in air...
The next day some passing-by vehicle discovered me lying unconscious by road-side waking up feeling drenched soaked through from head-to-toe reaching out towards nearby person asking “Am i still alive?!”
They stared at me blankly their eyes full of confusion...
